Show me Your face

Show me your Face Jesus!
In 2019, while at the Pasadena International House of Prayer during a devotional worship set. I was in deep prayer crying out to the Lord. I desperately wanted to see His face.
With tears streaming down my face, and while praying in tongues, this deep yearning welled up within me to see Him. I just wanted to look into his eyes and to see His smile. I wanted to see the eyes of fire as the bible describes him in the book of Revelation. I wanted to see the beauty of Jesus, the Desire of all Nations (Haggai 2:7) I was desperate to see the expression on his face. My longing was so deep I was weeping. It felt like what Moses might have experienced when He cried out, "Show me Your glory."
Suddenly I was taken back when face flashed before my eyes, but it wasn't the face of Jesus. I recognized this face! It was Prentice, a man we've ministered to on Skid Row for the past year. And I heard the Lord speak to me, "See Me in them! What you have done for the least of these my brethren, you have done it for Me. I am in them."
I was undone!
Fast forward a few weeks later, a man approaches me out on our corner. He says, "I've been looking for you." I didn't recognize this man. He had a huge smile on his face and was eager to tell me that he was Prentice. He looked totally different. Scraggily hair and beard gone. No hat and he was wearing nice business attire.
Prentice proceeds to tell me that because we had prayed for him and ministered to him it gave him the courage to leave the tent and drug lifestyle. He decided to totally surrender his life back to Jesus and he moved back home with his mom, he was working a regular job, and connecting with ministries. He said he had been trying to find me to tell me all of this.
This was one of the first powerful testimonies of God's power at work through our team on Skid Row. And my encounter with the Lord through it completely changed me. Please continue to pray for Prentice.
